1) The unit must be
mounted below the water line. This is to allow direct vibrations coupled
from the unit to the portion of the hull thats in the water. Identify where the unit
will be located on the hull of the boat.
2). Looking at the bottom of the unit (the aluminum ring) picture a face of a clock.
Run a bead of silicone (or other sealant) from about 11 oclock to about 1
oclock. This will leave a slight opening. Mount the unit to the boat surface making
sure the silicone makes a good contact. Let the silicone cure.
3) Once cured, place a small tube in the opening that was left
UN-sealed (you can also use a hypodermic), fill the gap between the unit and the hull of
the boat with any fluid (you can even use sea water). The purpose of this is to eliminate
as much as the air as possible. When the tube overflows, remove the tube, and seal
off that part with silicone. Unit is now mounted and ready for use.
The removal of air is important; air is
compressible and will reduce the overall efficiency. By replacing the air with oil (or
other fluid), you are assured a solid medium that will couple 100% of the energy directly
to the surface of the hull, and in turn to the water.
4) Electrical: Simply attach the black wire to the
negative side of your battery, and the red (sometimes white) wire to the positive side
of your battery, DAMAGE WILL OCCUR IF YOU REVERSE. You should now hear the output of the
unit.
5) Output: Testing the output of the ATTRACTOR. Attach
the cables to the battery per above, you will hear the output sound vibration.
This installation should take less than an hour of your time (not
including curing time), and has proven to be VERY effective.
